Karr — accounting, invoicing and tax compliance for small and
medium businesses
Karr is accounting, invoicing and tax-compliance software for small and medium businesses and the accountants
who work with them, with country-specific compliance built for India, the UAE and the United States. It keeps
your books, raises invoices, runs payroll, and tracks every statutory deadline — so you know what you owe
before the deadline arrives.
Sending email from your own address
Karr sends the paperwork your business already sends: invoices to customers, payment reminders when a bill
goes overdue, and compliance notices to your accountant. Those should come from you, not from
a software company's address — so Karr lets you connect your own mailbox and sends through it.
If you use Gmail or Google Workspace, you can connect it in one click. Karr asks Google for permission to
send mail on your behalf, and for your email address and name so it can show you which mailbox
is connected.
Karr cannot read your email. It cannot open, search, download, forward, change or delete any
message — the permission it holds allows sending only, and no other access is requested or possible. Your
messages are never stored on Karr's servers. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Email, which
deletes the stored credential immediately. Mail providers outside Google are supported through standard SMTP,
so connecting Google is always optional.
